The fastest factory Defender
During the BMW ownership of Land Rover between 1997 and 2001 a straight six petrol engine variant of the defender was offered in South Africa. This 192hp engine gave a 0-60 of 9.3 seconds. Early models were un restricted, later versions were restricted to 100mph.
The import process
With a history of successfully importing a variety of cars we have got a number of Defenders now imported into the UK and running on UK plates. The whole import process has been dealt with from shipping to taxes to DVLA acceptance.
